I am a Napa Valley based photographer who enjoys capturing a slightly different view of our world, one in which I attempt to convey through my photography the beauty that surrounds us. I feel that exploring the details and patterns in a scene and looking at what seems ordinary from an unusual viewpoint can broaden one’s appreciation of the world.
Isolating parts and pieces, removing them from their normal context, can give new insights into everything around us. When the viewer sees one thing that turns out to be something else entirely upon reflection, it refines one’s perspectives and encourages us all to look more closely at the world in which we live.
